Hey! How’s ur holiday (if you’re having 1) It’s the school hols again. OMG, it’s so nice to have a break from school! As you may have noticed, I always go to Malacca. That is because my mom’s hometown is in Malacca. Unfortunately, I’ve never been to most of the tourist attractions there.
*PS. Malacca is also known as a historical city*
My mom felt guilty so that’s how I ended up taking these pix. Anyway, Malacca is a wonderful city….
We went there on the first day of the hols (14 March, Sat.). We went to an eating place to meet my aunt and cousins. We had quite a delicious lunch of porridge, noodles, chicken, pork… After our lunch, we went to ‘Perigi Raja’ (‘King’s Well’ if translated) to check out the well. I learnt a lot there, including to bring a cap during my next trip cause there’s a scorching sun up high…
We wanted to go to Jonker Street that night but it rained *TT* so we watched TV at my grandma’s house. It was quite dull though. The next morning, we woke up early and went to Mini Malaysia/ASEAN. There are different kind of Malaysian and ASEAN houses there (well, some Malaysian houses are almost the same). Unfortunately, we took a wrong turn and it was so hot that we gave up finding Mini ASEAN (we learnt that it was at the other end when we came out of there).
There was a cultural show at about 11 AM. I cant say it was too dull nor interesting. We continued walking after the show. The Sabah and Sarawak houses are quite interesting. The staircases and flooring are quite unique. Then, we went out of the place and went to the McD near the Crocodile Farm (we had enough of sun so we decided to go to the farm during the next trip)
At about 8 PM, we went to Jonker Street. There were many interesting things and delicious food there. We went for some chicken rice balls and were ready for the walking. After that, we went to a lantern exhibition (watever you call it) near the Maritime Musuem and the Eye on Malaysia. There were different types of lanterns in different structures.

Then, we went ot the Malacca River Cruise. It was quite interesting. It’s been so long since I last went on a boat (take note: it’s not Star Cruise or something like that, it’s just a boat cruising around Malacca River). The ride is set for about 45 mins. but I went asleep after 20 mins cuz it was already like 11 PM went we started the cruise.
We went back to Selangor the next day. This trip is wonderful. Maybe you should visit Malacca sometimes…
*Sry cuz I couldnt put in the pix cuz there’s a problem with the image hosting web
